Our athletic directors, Mr. Garrison and Mr. Valle have worked with our team and developed a weight training
and fitness program.
In November, we tested the fitness level of our entire program. The following are the best scores and
times...
Military: Gilen Guenther (190 pounds); Bench: Julio Corona, Roberto Luque, Michael Solano, Gilen Guenther and Luis Martinez
(185 pounds); Squat: Gilen Guenther (275 pounds), Bryant Flores (260 pounds); Power Clean: Bryant Flores (190 pounds) and
Daniel Abrahamian (165 pounds).
Varsity Prepares for Season
The varsity team is preparing for the upcoming season. Most of the squad is playing soccer for club teams.
Some of the players will be coming over from football, water polo and cross country.
Returning all-league performers will be expected to play major roles on this team.
