JBHS Frosh Destroy Harvard-Westlake and Tie in Santa Monica

The Frosh destroyed Harvard-Westlake 6-2 on Friday. First half goals by Lucas Fontes and John Castro began the attack. In the second half, Steven Munoz made two goals and provided two assists. Walter Perez and Robert Henry scored for the Indians as well. On a cold Monday afternoon, the Frosh traveled to Santa Monica. With 10 seconds left in the game, Johnnie Garcia scored off an outstanding Navarro pass tying the game 1-1.

The Frosh finished with a record of 17-6-2. Final game is Wednesday at Arcadia. To see Ralph Brandt Tournament Schedule and Game Results click on "Brandt Tournament" in the column on the left.

"ENJOY THE GAME"
Thanks for supporting Burroughs soccer. We hope all of you can come and enjoy the game. Please be courteous to the other schools and to game officials. Also - please try and be positive - encourage and cheer and recognize great plays by both teams. The boys know how to play - they do not need to hear people yelling at them from the stands on how to shoot, pass or kick the ball. Thanks.
